It’s always nice to receive unexpected gifts, so I’d like to thank the nice people at D&AD for sending me their 2007 Student Annual.

Lots of great work in there by a talented bunch of youngsters. My particular favourites are Nick O’Brien’s “Scream” poster for the London Horror Film Festival, and Marc Pavlovic’s “Oblo” sphere puzzle toy in the product design section.
