A designer’s superpowers…
A designer’s superpowers aren’t the tools they use or the processes they follow. It’s curiosity, and dare I say it, naivety.
Designers are explorers. They thrive in unfamiliar places by building on what they know and acquiring new knowledge quickly. Being naive makes them hungry to find a solution. It’s the joy of discovery that fuels the creative fire within.
I don’t know many designers that get satisfaction by applying the same process, or treading familiar ground simply to achieve a result. That’s work for the robots. Designers need the space and freedom to dream and shape the unknown.
So if you are a designer and ever feel a little lost, stay curious and keep exploring.
