‘WiWaDi’ is a concept for an app that encourages users to walk more to increase their general fitness & well-being. The app searches for interesting places within walking distance and provides simple directional cues to aid navigation while walking.
After choosing how far they want to walk (either a hobble, totter, stroll, jog, or hike), users are shown a handful of interesting destinations nearby. Points are awarded based on the distance they choose to walk; longer journeys = more points.
During the walk, the screen shows a simple navigational device to help keep them on the right track and an indication of how far away their destination is. Upon reaching their goal, points are added to the user’s total.
